The China Institute of Technology (CIT) recently participated in Mississippi State University’s 2009 American Language & Culture Program for groups. The group spent 4 weeks in the intensive English language program and visited many sites—such as Memphis and Atlanta—taking part in various cultural activities along the way.  They even attended a professional baseball game, pitting the Atlanta Braves against the New York Mets.  After the game, they enjoyed a rock concert in Turner Field Stadium by the All-American Rejects!

Featured in the photo are some CIT students and new friends having dinner in Starkville, at one of the several restaurants within easy walking distance to the Mississippi State campus.

The CIT students said “see you later” to Mississippi State University in July 2009, but they are keeping in touch with their ESL teachers and friends through email, Skype, and Facebook.  We can’t wait to meet our next group of students from CIT!
