The Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) recently participated in Mississippi State University’s 2007 American Language & Culture Program. The group spent four weeks in the intensive English language program and visited many sites, taking part in various cultural activities along the way.

Featured in the photo are some BIT students performing classic Chinese folk songs with an erhu—an ancient Chinese two-stringed fiddle dating back at least one thousand years.

The BIT students said “see you later” to Mississippi State University in March of 2007, but plan to return for the American Language & Culture Program again in 2008. We can’t wait to see them again!
